In this week's 106.3 WORD Cover Story we take a look at how the generosity of a community in conjunction with a local non-profit, Habitat for Humanity, is making veteran's dreams come true one house at a time. I talked to one Army veteran who told me that thanks to Habitat for Humanity's help, she's now a homeowner who can comfortably live life. I also spoke with President and CEO of Greenville's chapter of Habitat for Humanity about how their organization is the quiet hero saving the day for those that put all on the line.

Up first is Monroe Free with the Greenville chapter of Habitat for Humanity who tells me how the program works.

Army veteran Ebony Adams describes how often the battlefield at home can be worse than in enemy territory.
