2 Arrested in Greenville County
Burglary and More

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 25 year-old, Shane William Standard and 32 year-old, Tracie Lewis Mayfield in connection with a burglary that resulted in the shooting death of Jeffrey Eugene Bradley on October 12, 2017.
During the course of investigation, investigators learned that on October 12th, Bradley, Standard and Mayfield all went to the residence at 100 Gethsemane Drive, and held an occupant inside the residence at gunpoint while demanding money. At some point, a neighbor who observed the struggle, grabbed a firearm and shot it, striking Bradley at least one time, causing his fatality.
Standard and Mayfield have both been arrested and charged with 1st Degree Burglary, Attempted Armed Robbery, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, Criminal Conspiracy, and Kidnapping. They are both being held in the Greenville County Detention Center. The investigation is still ongoing at this time
