3 Injured In Separate Shootings

The Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office issued the following press release Sunday afternoon:

This morning just before 4:00 am, Deputies responded to a shooting at Club 295 located at 1330 Southport Rd. in Spartanburg. Upon arrival, Deputies encountered a very large, unruly crowd.

Assistance was provided by the Spartanburg Police Department as well as the South Carolina Highway Patrol in an effort to gain control of the situation.  It was determined that two people had been shot during the incident and were transported to the hospital. The condition of those transported is unknown at this time.

A short time after this shooting, another shooting was reported at Lee’s Crossing apartments on Powell Mill Rd. Responding Deputies located one shooting victim who was transported to the hospital for treatment. Their condition is also unknown at this time.

It is not known if the two incidents are related as both of these investigations are in their early stages. Additional information on both of these incidents will be provided at the appropriate time.
