ACSO Deputy Suspended

Struck a Pedestrian

Anderson, SC - On May 30, 2018 at approximately 7:56 a.m, Anderson County Sheriff’s Deputy Adrienne McMahan was involved in a motor vehicle accident on SC 88 in Anderson County.  At the time of the incident, Deputy McMahan was assigned to the ACSO Road Patrol Division and was responding to a non-emergency call for service within her assigned zone.

As a result of this accident, Deputy McMahan’s fully marked and assigned patrol vehicle did make contact with a pedestrian who was off the roadway causing minor injuries.

Upon further review conducted by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office Administrative Staff, Deputy McMahan has received disciplinary action including suspension, reassignment, and additional vehicle operations training.
