CLARKSTON, Ga. (AP) — Authorities say a man wanted in connection with multiple home invasions in Georgia has been arrested.

DeKalb County Sheriff's spokeswoman Cynthia B. Williams tells The Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Atlanta police apprehended 48-year-old Corey Griffin based on a 911 tip that revealed his location.

Clarkston police told news outlets that Griffin had been identified in several incidents that include invading a Clarkston home and assaulting two Dekalb County women.

Police say Griffin also beat a resident and spray-painted his face in a May 19 home invasion in Stone Mountain.

Police say they identified Griffin through DNA with the help of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation.

Williams says outstanding Dekalb warrants for Griffin's arrest include four counts of aggravated assault and home invasion. It's unclear if he has a lawyer.
