Missing Woman Case

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested and charged 60 year-old, Charles Alexander Dogan with Desecration of Human Remains, Criminal Conspiracy and Obstruction of Justice, after investigators conducting the disappearance investigation of Stacy Davidson Carmack, found that Dogan had burned the body of who is believed to be Carmack.

On Friday, June 22nd, investigators and forensics investigators were led to the residence of 163 Oakvale Road, where they began collecting forensic evidence pertaining to this case. At the scene, human remains were located and are currently being examined by the Greenville County medical examiner.

In addition to the charges filed against Charles Dogan, investigators have signed warrants on his brother, Tony Nolan Dogan, who is not in custody, for Criminal Conspiracy and Obstruction of Justice. Investigators request that anyone with information pertaining to the whereabouts of Tony Dogan, to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME. The investigation is ongoing at this time, and being investigated by the Greenville County Sheriff, and Coroner Offices. The cause of death is still under investigation
