Arrest Made In Autobreakings

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 34 year-old, Phillip Scott Krause, Jr., in connection with multiple autobreakings that occurred in the River Shoals neighborhood, on November 1, 2017.

During the course of investigation, investigators were able to link Krause, Jr. to multiple autobreakings, including one of an unmarked Greenville County Sheriff’s Office vehicle containing numerous pieces of law enforcement equipment. Investigators have since, been able to reclaim possession of most of the Sheriff’s Office equipment, including the two stolen firearms, badge, taser, and ballistic vest. Investigators have also charged Krause, Jr., in connection with the stolen 2011 Toyota Camry.

Krause, Jr., is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center, facing 4 charges for Autobreaking, 2 for Grand Larceny, 3 for Petit Larceny, and 2 for Financial Transaction Card Theft.
