Blue Ridge High Teacher Suspended

From the Greenville County Sheriff's Office:

On January 30th, Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office received information from administrators at Blue Ridge High School regarding a potentially inappropriate relationship between a teacher and a student. 

The investigation is ongoing and no charges have been brought forth as of the issuance of this statement. 

Additional information will be released once it’s readily available.

From Beth Brotherton of Greenville County Schools:

"Blue Ridge High School recently received allegations of possible inappropriate conduct by a teacher.  Law enforcement was immediately notified.  Administration and the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the matter.  The employee in question is on leave pending the outcome of the investigation."
