Spartanburg County's Broome High School is on lockdown, its students evacuated, while Sheriff's Deputies investigate a note found on the District Three school's campus shortly after 9:30 this morning.

The students wo were led out of the building about 10:15 and loaded onto buses to keep warm -- still on board those as of half an hour ago. The note reportedly warned of a bomb planted somewhere in the building.

A statement from district spokesperson Aly Myles says: 'We are taking all necessary precautions for the safety of our students and working in collaboration with the Spartanburg County Sheriff's Office."
