It’s being reported that Clemson quarterback Hunter Johnson plans to transfer to another school.

Johnson was expected to enter the fall campaign in competition with Kelly Bryant, star freshman Trevor Lawrence and redshirt freshman Chase Brice for the starting job.

Johnson completed 21 of 27 passes for 234 yards with one touchdown and one interception as a backup during his freshman season in 2017. He played in seven games and took 76 snaps. Johnson was listed as the number two quarterback behind Kelly Bryant at the end of last season.
