City of Clemson Police Chief Jimmy Dixon issued the following press release Sunday morning.

Clemson City Police received a call at approximately 12:45 am the morning of June 30th concerning an individual that had fallen from a roof top.  Officers arrived to find the victim lying on the ground.

The victim was transported to Greenville Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.  The victim was a 20 years of age white male and a Clemson University student.  The Pickens County Coroner’s Office will be responsible for releasing the name of the victim.

At this point the Clemson City Police does not suspect any foul play.  The death is under investigation due to the victim being under the age of 21 and the possibility of alcoholic beverages maybe being a contributing factor to the cause of this tragic incident.

The Pickens County Coroner's Office has identified the victim as Thomas Few of Greenville.  An autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

A Clemson University spokesman said the university is aware of the death and is gathering more information.
