Safe Harbor, an advocacy group that supports victims of domestic violence and their children, is partnering with ten local Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurants for its 9th Annual “Month of Giving” Campaign.

The goal?

To fund critical needs in the community – in this case, to help women who’ve been hurt by domestic violence and their kids get the support they need.

All month customers of local Jersey Mike’s spots have been able to make a donation at any participating restaurant in Greenville, Clemson, Easley, Greenwood, Greer, Simpsonville and Spartanburg.

The campaign will culminate Wednesday for its “Day of Giving,” during which time Jersey Mike’s will donate 100 percent of the days sales – and not just profits – to Safe Harbor.

Last year, local Jersey Mike’s raised more than $42,000 for Safe Harbor. Across the country, they’ve raised more than $27 million for similarly worthy causes.

So if you’re looking for a sub and to help a good cause at the same time, stop by Jersey Mike’s on Wednesday and pick up a sub.
