Gaffney City Police sent parents a reminder on Facebook about the city's curfew for children under the age of 18.

This comes as police are investigating a series of break-ins that occurred after school's dismissed for summer vacation. Video surveillance shows two young males committing at least one of these burglaries and they are suspects in the other crimes, police said.

“As a reminder to parents and guardians, the City of Gaffney has a curfew ordinance which does not allow children under the age of 17 to be out on the streets or in businesses after midnight from June through August unless accompanied by the parent or adult guardian,” police said in the post.
