The Greenville County Sheriff's Office Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament is back and better than ever!

In 1983, retired GCSO Sheriff Johnny Mack Brown started the Sheriff's Office Scholarship Fund to provide college scholarships to the sons and daughters of Sheriff's Office employees. Since its inception, the fund has collected scholarship donations from generous citizens throughout Greenville County and via a golf tournament that, until a few years ago, was held annually.

This year, Sheriff Lewis is happy to announce that the GCSO Scholarship Fund Golf Tournament is back on the green, providing a wonderful opportunity for us to re-connect with the residents of Greenville County and the corporations who thrive here, as our agency affirms its commitment to assist our employees' children in pursuing their higher education goals.

Various members of our Sheriff's Office personnel - Sheriff Will Lewis, SWAT, K-9, personnel services, scholarship recipients, etc. - will be present at the tournament to mingle with and get to know participants.  The format will be 4-man Captain's Choice and a delicious sit down meal will be provided immediately after the tournament. The Cliffs Valley Golf Course will be hosting this anticipated event and team space is limited. We hope you'll join us for a wonderful day of golf and fun!
