This week the Greenville County Sheriff's Office is hosting it's 18th Annual Marcus Whitfield Youth Camp in honor of the late Marcus Whitfield, who died in the line of duty in 1999.

The camp is an outreach to the youth in our community and acts as a great way to build a relationship between law enforcement and our youth. It is being held at Berea High School and lasts through Friday.

The 120 youth attendees have been participating in an array of activities and team building exercises, while learning leadership and life skills that will hopefully impact them for a lifetime.

Sgt. Ryan Flood invited t106.3 WORD to Berea High School to update everyone on what is going on at the camp this year.
