Thanks to Congressman Joe Wilson and Congressman Jeff Duncan on behalf of our listeners for their support of the Local Radio Freedom Act, which opposes a tax on radio local radio.

Today the Recording Academy is holding its “District Advocate Day” (formerly “Grammys in my District”).

The Academy is urging music artists to meet in-district with House members to encourage them to support a radio performance tax. Given this push, it’s important that your legislator hears from you on behalf of radio broadcasters and is urged to support local radio stations and their listeners by cosponsoring the Local Radio Freedom Act.

We have 213 House cosponsors, so we must continue our drive to 218+ and a majority of the House.

Email Jeff Duncan and Joe Wilson and let them know you support local radio.
