Infant ibuprofen sold at CVS, Walmart, and Family Dollar may contain higher concentrations of the drug per dose, and should not be used.

This warning goes out across the country, effective immediately.

If you're not sure what kind of ibuprofen you purchased for your infant, veer on the cautious side and get rid of it.

A good rule of thumb is, if you have any infant ibuprofen from these stores, don’t give it to your child. Throw it away ore return it.

These packages are listed by the brands CVS Health at CVS, Equate at Walmart, and Family Wellness at Family Dollar.

All have orange on the boxes, so be on the lookout for that.

Higher doses of ibuprofen can prove fatal fot infants.

Symptoms of an ibuprofen overdose include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or if your child seems to be in pain, especially around the stomach or head area.
