A popular bar and restaurant in downtown Greenville faces serious structural problems.

Ink and Ivy has been a popular spot for diners and drinkers since it opened its doors on the corner of Coffee Street and Brown Street back in 2016.

But as of Friday, parts of the bar are now inaccessible – at least to the public.

This comes after inspectors with the city of Greenville learned of potential structural problems with building on Friday.

Now the third floor and rooftop bar of the restaurant are now off limits, with occupancy officially revoked.

The bottom two floors will remain open for business, according to the Greenville’s Communications Manager.

It remains unclear when, or if, the closed floors will reopen.
