A local girl is making her debut on America’s Got Talent.

Last year, Easley 12-year-old Ansley Burns was filmed belting out to Carrie Underwood’s "Cry Pretty" in the backseat of her family’s car.

Amazingly enough, when the video was uploaded to Youtube, it caught the attention of Carrie Underwood herself.

In a tweet, Underwood praised Ansley, writing: “This is amazing! Everybody keep your eyes out for this girl!”

Well, Underwood’s prediction proved prophetic, as Ansley will now be featured on America’s Got Talent on Tuesday.

The seventh grader says it’s been an exciting time, according to her mother.

And a preview of Ansley singing Aretha Franklin’s song “Think” on Tuesday’s episode has already racked up nearly six million views and counting.

Check out Ansley on Tuesday’s episode to see what Simon Cowell and the rest of the judges thought of her performance (although based on the audience reaction, it looks like she’s well on her way to stardom).
