Missing Woman Update

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate the disappearance of an Upstate woman.  Deputies said Stacy Davidson Carmack of Anderson County was last seen on Oakvale Drive between May 28 and 29.   Carmack is described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and 180 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

The Greenville Coroner's Office was called to a home on Oakvale Drive, Friday afternoon in relation to the case. The Sheriff's Office also said forensic evidence was being collected at the home.

The Greenville County Coroner's Office released the following statement just before 11PM Friday, June 22:

The Greenville County Coroner's Office, Greenville County Sheriff's Office and Greenville County Forensics responded to 163 Oakvale Drive Piedmont, SC 29673 for reports of possible human remains being found. Human remains were recovered at the address. This case remains under investigation by the Greenville County Coroner's Office and the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

The press released contained no information regarding the sex, age, injuries, cause of death nor identity of the victim.
