Another Republican has entered the race for the 4th district Congressional seat. Business lawyer John Marshall Mosser filed to run on Thursday.

“I have never held public office and never planned to. I am not a politician, but frankly, I don’t think the Washington swamp needs any more politicians,” says Mosser, whose campaign focuses on cutting wasteful spending, debt reduction, and balancing the budget.

Having served as General Counsel to one of the largest accounting firms in the nation and counsel to the largest bank in South Carolina, John Marshall know what it takes to manage multi-million-dollar budgets.

“Passing a 1.3 trillion-dollar omnibus bill is another example of a congress that is absolutely addicted to spending money we don’t have and willing to add hundreds of millions to the national debt only to fund our government for a mere six months. It is morally wrong, irresponsible, and unacceptable.”
