The Clemson Police Department has arrested two people in relation to several car break-ins and thefts.

Police say on August 27th 25 vehicles were broken into and one was stolen from the Ridge Apartments near Issaqueena Trail.

Two Anderson residents, Jamerio Shiyiem Groves, 19, and Anija Davonnte Walker, 27, are each charged with 23 counts of Breaking and Entering into an Auto, four counts of Petit Laceny, and Grand Larceny.

Break-ins similar to the ones at the Ridge Apartments happened the same night in Pendleton.

Police say deputies found Groves and Walker breaking into more vehicles approximately one week later.

Authorities were able to recover the stolen vehicle.

Both suspects are being held at the Anderson County Detention Center on $120,000 bond.
