Arrest Made in Crawford Hill Road Murder

Released by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office.

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have made an arrest in the January 16th homicide that occurred at 220 Crawford Hill Road.

Earlier this morning, members of the GCSO Warrants Division FASIT team arrested 38 year-old, Rashad Jamon Stovall without incident.

During the course of the investigation, investigators determined that Stovall was responsible for shooting and killing the victim for an undetermined reason.

Investigators have learned that Stovall and the victim were familiar with each other.

Following his arrest, Stovall was transported to the Greenville County Detention Center where he awaits a bond hearing to face charges for Murder and Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime.

The bond hearing is scheduled for today, at 2:30pm.

This investigation is ongoing as investigators work to determine if there are any other parties involved.
