A string of charges and denied bond for an Spartanburg County man.

Troy Dashaun Braxton has been charged with a deadly shooting and an armed robbery after originally being arrested following a car chase for failing to stop for a deputy.

The Spartanburg County Sheriff’s Office reports the January 21 chase resulted in Driving Under Suspension (2nd offense), Failure to Stop, and Possession With Intent to Distribute Marijuana charges.

The continued investigation found evidence Braxton was involved in an armed robbery at The Donnette on Asheville Highway on January 1.

The same evidence connected him to the January 10th shooting death of Juan Booker in Boiling Springs.

Braxton was also on probation in Union County.

He has been charged with Murder, four counts of Armed Robbery and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime, and Violation of Probation.

He is being held in the Spartanburg County Detention Center.
