(GREENVILLE, SC) - Deputies with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office F.A.S.I.T (Fugitive Apprehension Specialized Investigation Team) arrested a suspect in connection with a drive-by shooting that occurred on May 17th, in front of 21 W. 8th Street, in Woodside.

Twenty-one year-old, William Robert Nash Gillespie was the second of two suspects arrested in this case after being located in Laurens County earlier today. On May 22nd, 33 year-old, Kara Ann Skipper was arrested for her involvement in the case. During the course of the investigation, investigators learned that Gillespie and Skipper drove to 8th street and opened fire from their vehicle, striking a female victim at least one time. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment and is still recovering from her injuries.

Both Gillespie and Skipper (pictured below) are in the Greenville County Detention Center facing charges for Attempted Murder, Possession of a Weapon during a Violent Crime and Criminal Conspiracy. Skipper was given no bond and Gillespie is awaiting a bond hearing.
