The Oconee County Sheriff's Office have found a missing 13 year old boy.

Deputies were notified late Sunday evening of the missing teenager, Tristan Freeman.  According to the responding Deputy, Tristan  walked away from Collins Children's Home, located near Seneca and the Bountyland Community.

Deputies searched the surrounding area of the Children's Home on foot and also used the Sheriff's Office drone to try and locate him. 

Both searches came up empty.

The Sheriff's Office is asking all to keep an eye out for Tristan who is 5'2" and weighs about 100 pounds.

He has blonde hair and blue eyes.

(Walhalla, SC)---The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help this morning in its search for a missing juvenile.

The Sheriff’s Office received notification late yesterday afternoon of the missing juvenile, 13 year old Tristan Freeman. 

According to information provided to the deputy that responded to the scene, Tristan walked away from Collins Children’s Home, which is located at 125 Collins Home Drive, which is near the Bountyland Community and Seneca. 

Tristan was last seen wearing a pair of light gray shorts and a white tank top t-shirt and an unknown type or color of shoes. 

Tristan is around 5’ 2” tall and weighs around 100 pounds.  He has blond hair and blue eyes.

Tristan’s identification information has been placed into the National Crime Information Center database.

As part of the search for Tristan, the area around the Children’s home was checked but Tristan was not located. 

Deputies also deployed the Sheriff’s Office drone and deputies checked businesses and storage buildings in the area as well. 

A reverse 911 call was made to citizens within a 10 mile radius of the Collins Children’s Home.  Units from Oconee County Emergency Services also assisted deputies in their search for Tristan.    

Deputies also followed up on tips this morning that were received concerning possible locations or sightings of Tristan but at this time, he has yet to be located.
