Official Press Release from the Oconee County Sheriff's Office:

In December, we accept gifts of new clothing, toys, and household items for our clients.

Many women who have suffered domestic abuse have no other resources for the holidays, and all the women and children served by Safe Harbor are grateful for your gifts.

Last year, several hundred individuals were helped by our Holiday Giving Program.

We count on the community to help provide holiday gifts for our clients at Safe Harbor and make the season brighter for women and children whose lives have been shattered by domestic violence.

Deliver gifts to Greenville: Elks Club: 7700 Pelham Rd. Greenville, SC 29615; Seneca: Utica Baptist Church, 4056 Wells HWY, Seneca, SC 29678.

We will have staff available to accept gifts on December 17, 18 and 19 between 10am and 5pm.

Please let us know by email at if you plan on dropping off gifts so that we can anticipate your arrival.

Please do not gift wrap items or put them in sealed boxes.

Please mark each box or bag with the age and if appropriate the gender of each child.

For women, please indicate the size or size range.

If you have gift cards, please put them in sealed envelopes – not in gift boxes or bags.

Please write the amount of each card on the card or on the envelope.

If you cannot meet our delivery schedule, please call 864-720-2913 to make alternative arrangements; leave a detailed message with the best times to return your call.

If you have any questions, please email Safe Harbor at
