Seniors Will Be Recognized In-Person

In-Person graduation ceremonies will be held for high school seniors at Bon Secours Wellness Arena this week.  

Fourteen high schools from Greenville County will be recognized between Thursday, May 28th and Thursday, June 4th.  School, date and time listed below.

Tim Waller, Director of Communications for Greenville County Schools said The Well will "observe the strictest safety and health protocols... to protect graduates and guests from the spread of COVID-19."

The graduation ceremonies will be offered to view via live stream on social media platforms, including Facebook and Twitter.

After the ceremonies, videos will be available on the YouTube Channel "2020 GCS High School Graduations."

The Well has put many safety precautions in place, such as: chairs in front of the stage placed six feet apart and floor stickers to lead graduates in the right direction.  Cleaning crews will also clean The Well thoroughly between ceremonies.  

"Beginning this week, Greenville County Schools will hold in-person graduation ceremonies for seniors from 14 high schools. All ceremonies will be held at Bon Secours Wellness Arena and will observe the strictest safety and health protocols. Due to the extra measures being taken to protect graduates and guests from the spread of COVID-19."  Tim Waller, GCS Director of Communications.
