Greenville Police are looking for a man that held up a gas station on Mauldin Road Monday around 12:45am. 

The male suspect demanded cash from the register after putting his hand in his jacket pocket to make the clerk believe he had a gun. 

The clerk hit the panic button and the suspect left the store. 

Officers ask that anyone with information about this incident call the Greenville Police Department or Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.  

Possible cash reward for tips that lead to an arrest.

Official news release from the Greenville Police Department:

On December 2, GPD officers were dispatched to a gas station on Mauldin Rd in response to an armed robbery that occurred at 12:40 a.m.

The clerk told officers that a male suspect placed his hand in his jacket pocket and insinuated that he had a pistol.

He then demanded cash from the register.

The clerk hit the panic button and the male left the store in an unknown direction.

Anyone with any information on this incident is asked to call the GPD or you can remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.

Tipsters could possibly earn a cash reward.
