Greenville County Deputies are searching for a shooting suspect, after fleeing an altercation at the Holiday Inn Express on Woodruff Road.

The Greenville County Sheriff's Office got a call about a gunshot victim around 4:45am Thursday.  Deputies found one male shot at least one time.

Lt. Ryan Flood said the shooting happened after an altercation with a guest inside the hotel.  The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The shooter fled the scene, Investigators are searching for that suspect.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.

Investigators with the GCSO are investigating a shooting that occurred at the Holiday Inn Express, located at 1036 Woodruff Road.

The 911 call was received at around 4:45am regarding a gunshot victim and when deputies arrived on scene they located a male with at least one gunshot wound.

Preliminary reports indicate the shooting occurred following an altercation inside the hotel with a guest.

The victim was transported to the hospital in stable condition.

The shooter fled the scene and investigators are asking for anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers of Greenville at 23-CRIME.
