Ryan Dusha Kedar, a suspect in the murder of Mark Jermon at Herdklotz Park in February 2020, found dead

The Greenville County Coroner's Office has confirmed the identity of human remains as a suspect in a February murder.

The remains, found in a ravine over the weekend, have been identified as murder suspect Ryan Kedar.

The coroner reports Kedar died several months ago.

In a release, the Greenville County Sheriff's Office said they are still investigating the murder of Mark Jermon, who Kedar was accused of killing.

Part of that investigation will involve reviewing forensic evidence associated with a firearm found near the body of Kedar and the firearm used to kill Jermon.

Meanwhile, GCSO and the Greenville County Coroner's Office are investigating the cause of Kedar's death.
