A man who fell 30-40 feet from a rock at Keowee-Toxaway State Park... lived!!! 

Authorities say the man is recovering after the fall Sunday evening.   

He fell near the Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards in Pickens. 

Emergency crews got him to the hospital, he did suffer lacerations.   

Pickens County Emergency Operations reminds everyone, be safe around the water this Memorial  Day.
