Anderson County Sheriff's Office Press Release:

Anderson, SC (29 November 2019, 12:30 pm. EST) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office will launch a newly revised website in celebration of Cyber Monday. The new site will “officially” launch on Monday, December 2, 2019, as Christmas shoppers take to the internet for cyber-shopping deals. The URL remains as andersonsheriff.org.

Our goal with the new website is to provide Anderson County citizens with an easier way to interact with the Sheriff’s Office and to allow site visitors to browse information based on their needs. The new website is interactive and mobile-friendly. It gives better access to Sheriff’s Office resources including one-click interaction with such things as: Submitting a Tip, Employment Opportunities, Crime Watch, and searches for both the Detention Center and Sex Offender Registries.

Among new features, the site contains the latest news from our agency, email contacts for all of our Command Staff and Sheriff’s Office leadership, one-stop Community Resources, Victim Services resources and so much more. Nearly 75% of current users who access the Sheriff’s Office site do so using a mobile device or tablet, because of this, the site uses adaptive technology to make for a better user experience.

The site was built using internal resources and personnel. We hope the community finds the new website with a fresh look, easy-to-access and user-friendly. We also wish to establish this portal as a source of information for those who visit our community or are looking to relocate to Anderson County.
