Two teen escapees are still on the run!

According to the North Carolina Department of Public Safety Facebook Page, Officials believe the teens to be in the Black Mountain Area near Asheville.

Christopher H. and Mikal M. escaped from the Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center in Concord last Sunday, last seen around 2:45pm. 

North Carolina Local Law Enforcement is also assisting in the search.

Anyone with possible sightings or location information is asked to contact police immediately.

Juveniles Escape from Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center

The Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice reports that two juveniles have escaped from Stonewall Jackson Youth Development Center located at 850 Holshouser Road, Concord, NC.

The juveniles who escaped are identified as Christopher H. and Mikal M. They were last seen at approximately 2:45 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019.

The division has notified local law enforcement and is cooperating fully with the investigation.

Due to the unpredictability of juvenile behavior during an escape, the Department has a high degree of concern for the safety of the juveniles and the public.

Members of the public should report sightings of juveniles to local law enforcement officials.
