OSCO Seeks Public's Help

(Walhalla, SC) - The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help today in regards to an investigation into a moped that was reported stolen late last week.

A deputy from the Uniform Patrol Division spoke with the victim who told the deputy that his moped was stolen from a residence on Sunshine Ridge Road near Westminster. 

Based on information provided by the victim, investigators believe that the moped was stolen sometime between 10:45pm last Wednesday, February 19th and 9:45am Thursday, February 20th. 

The moped is a faded blue in color 2017 Kymco Agility 50.  The SC Moped tag for the vehicle is MP2111.  The victim stated that there is a Carolina Panthers sticker on the handle bars. 

Information on the moped has been entered into the National Crimes Information Center database. 

If you have any information on a stolen faded blue in color 2017 Kymco Agility 50 moped that was taken sometime between last Wednesday night and last Thursday morning from an address on Sunshine Ridge Road near Westminster, please contact Crimestoppers, where you can remain anonymous and all tips are confidential, at 1-888-CRIME-SC.
