Released by the City of Simpsonville.

Trailers used to collect aluminum cans for the S.C. Burned Children's Fund were stolen on Saturday at approximately 9 p.m. from Station 3 on Highway 14 and Station 4 on Neely Ferry Road off Fairview Road.

A trailer was stolen from Station 4 earlier this month for a total of three stolen trailers.

Anyone with information about the incident can call the Greenville County Sheriff's Office at 864-271-5210.

The trailers are collection points for aluminum cans that are sold to donate funds to the Medical University of South Carolina Burned Children's Fund.

The funds are used to host Camp-Can-Do for children who have suffered burns across the state.

Monday Update:

All three trailers stolen from the Simpsonville Fire Department fire stations have been recovered by law enforcement officials.

Two individuals were also arrested in connection to the theft.
