Two shootings in Spartanburg have Police calling on the public for assistance...

Officers responded to Victoria Gardens Apartments on Howard Street Friday in reference to a shooting. 

Witnesses on scene said a victim had been shot at least once around 7:00pm in front of Building 15. 

After failed attempts to try and revive the victim, he was transported to the hospital by EMS.

Officers on scene learned of another gunshot victim in the vacinity who was taken to Spartanburg Medical Center by a citizen. 

That male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.  

Investigators are working to see if the two shootings are related.

There is no suspect information at this time.

As the Investigation continues, Officers are still interviewing witnesses.

SPARTANBURG, S.C. (July 10, 2020) On July 10, 2020 officers from the Spartanburg Police Department responded to a shooting call at 695 Howard Street, apartment 15 B (Victoria Gardens).

Once on the scene, officers observed an unconscious male on the ground in front of building 15.

The male appeared to have been shot at least once. Spartanburg EMS arrived and transported the male to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.    

On July 10, 2020, around 7:00 p.m., officers from the Spartanburg Police Department responded to 695 Howard Street, apartment 15 B (Victoria Gardens) in reference to a shooting call.

When officers arrived on scene, they were informed by witnesses the victim had been shot at least once prior to police arrival.

Attempts were being made to revive the victim; however, he remained unresponsive.

The victim was immediately transported by EMS to the hospital to be treated for his injuries.  
While on scene, officers received information of another gunshot victim at Spartanburg Medical Center as a result of being shot in the arm.

The male victim was driven to Spartanburg Medical Center in a privately owned vehicle by a group of friends.

Investigators are currently working to determine if the two shootings are related.

The Spartanburg Police Department is currently interviewing witnesses and seeking to locate and identify additional witnesses in reference to the incident.

There is no information about the suspect(s) to release at this time.
