An unsupervised young girl was saved from drowning at a Spartanburg pool yesterday by three young men.

A report released by the Spartanburg Police Department said an officer was called to a pool on Dover Road around 5 PM on June 1st.

According to the officer's report, three young men, who were not related to the girl, had been in the shallow end of the pool when they noticed her in the deep end at the bottom of the pool.

Two of them pulled her to the surface of the water while the other dialed 911.

They realized she wasn't breathing and began CPR; one began chest compressions while another gave mouth to mouth resuscitation.

The girl regained consciousness.

Shortly after, EMS arrived and she was taken to a local hospital for further testing.
The report states she was not under any adult supervision at the pool.

More information as it comes.
