South Carolina native and singer-songwriter Patrick Davis returns to the Peace Center for an intimate concert in the Gunter Theatre on Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, at 8 p.m., and this time, he’s bringing His Midnight Choir along.

Raised in Camden, S.C., Davis began performing as a teenager, before attending the University of South Carolina. After graduation, he moved to Nashville, where he has built his music career.

Davis has released four well-received, full-length albums and toured the U.S. and Europe as both a headliner and support act for Darius Rucker, Jewel and others. As a songwriter, he’s had more than 50 songs recorded by artists such as Jimmy Buffet, Lady Antebellum, Imelda May, Darius Rucker, Jewel, Robert Randolph and Guy Clark.

Borrowing its name from a line in Leonard Cohen’s “Bird On a Wire,” His Midnight Choir is an 11-piece band featuring horns and background singers. Since their first time playing dates together, Patrick Davis & His Midnight Choir have witnessed growing congregations across the Southeast and beyond.

Tickets for the Friday, Jan. 19, 2018, 8 p.m. performance by Patrick Davis & His Midnight Choir are $35 and may be purchased by calling 864.467.3000 or 800.888.7768, in person at the Peace Center Box Office or online at www.peacecenter.org.
