An upstate man was killed crossing White Horse Road just after 12:30AM Saturday in Greenville County.

Cleveland Donell Williams, 37 of Seneca, was walking across White Horse Road near the intersection of Staunton Bridge Road, when he was struck in the roadway by a Chevrolet pickup truck.

Williams was pronounced dead at the scene just before 1AM.

This case is still under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol and the Greenville County Coroner's Office.
