The Greenville County Sheriff's Office issued the following press release Saturday.

Greenville County SWAT has been called to a residence on Suber Road after receiving a call regarding a woman who was shot with, what is believed to be a pellet gun. The call generated at around 8:30pm. The victim is okay and safe, however the suspect is reportedly in possession of a firearm and deputies are attempting to negotiate his surrender.

Sunday morning Lt. Ryan Flood, Public Information Officer for the Sheriff's Office issued the following update.

In regards to the SWAT call on Suber Road from last night, after several hours of attempted negotiation, the suspect took his own life with a self inflicted gunshot wound. No further details are available at this time. An autopsy will be performed by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office.
