If you’ve been patiently waiting for the “Friends” reunion special, it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year.

Yesterday, it was announced that the highly-anticipated upcoming reunion is being delayed once again due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Jennifer Aniston revealed she is just as disappointed as fans to hear about the decision to postpone, but understands it’s for the best.

“Unfortunately it’s very sad that we had to move it again,” the 51-year-old told Deadline. “It was, ‘How do we do this with live audiences?’ This is not a safe time. Period. That’s the bottom line. It’s not a safe time to do it.”

Aniston remained positive, explaining that this gives the team “more time” to make the reunion “even more exciting” when it eventually happens.

“It’s going to be super,” she added. “I choose to see it as the glass is half-full that it got postponed. Look, we’re not going anywhere. You’re never going to get rid of Friends, sorry. You’re stuck with us for life guys.”

Announced in February, the entire cast of the beloved sitcom -- Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc -- was supposed to reunite on the soundstage in Burbank where the comedy was filmed.

Filming was set for two days in March with a premiere of May 27.

Following the initial delay, filming was scheduled to begin sometime in August before it was postponed again indefinitely.

As fans wait to see all six actors together in one room again, they can pass the time by watching all “Friends” episodes on HBO Max.
