It looks like Regal Cinemas is taking a leaf out of the books of the streaming services, as the company has just announced an unlimited movie subscription plan.

The way it works is simple: you pay $18 to $23.50 a month and can watch as many movies as you want, as many times as you want.

On top of that, members will get ten percent off all food and non-alcoholic drinks in the theatre.

There are a few catches, however. You’ll note that prices range for the subscription plan. That’s because the $18 plan gives you access to 200 theatres in the country, the $21 plan gives you access to 400 theatres in the country, and the plan that costs you $23.50 gives you access to every Regal Cinemas theatre.

We checked the theatre list and looks like all Greenville locations will be on the $21 plan, while all locations in Spartanburg and Anderson will be on the $18 plan.

You should also take note that, much like a typical gym membership, you have to sign up for a full year, so you’re really paying $216 to $252 in 12 installments.

Still, given that average ticket prices around here hover around $13 a pop, if you see two movies a month you’re already saving money.

The new subscription plan will be officially rolled out within the week.
