Bright leads GOP, headed to runoff

In the hotly contested 4th Congressional District GOP primary race it appears former State Senator Lee Bright will be in a runoff.  The question of who that might be is still not certain as of 11PM Tuesday night.  Here are the latest results.

92 of 231 precincts - 40 percent

Lee Bright 8,190 - 33 percent

William Timmons 3,788 - 15 percent

Josh Kimbrell 3,632 - 15 percent

Dan Hamilton 3,599 - 14 percent

James Epley 1,675 - 7 percent

Stephen Brown 1,412 - 6 percent

Shannon Pierce 839 - 3 percent

Claude Schmid 637 - 3 percent

Mark Burns 619 - 2 percent

Dan Albert 178 - 1 percent

John Mosser 148 - 1 percent

Justin Sanders 131 - 1 percent

Barry Bell 91 - 0 percent

 

There appears to be a runoff in the Democrat nominee race as well.  Here are the latest results.

92 of 231 precincts - 40 percent

Brandon Brown 2,501 - 30 percent

Doris Turner 2,386 - 29 percent

Eric Graben 2,161 - 26 percent

Will Morin 624 - 8 percent

JT Davis 575 - 7 percent
