Shooting Death Arrest Made From 2018

Investigators with the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office have arrested 29 year-old, Kendrick Omar Cobb in connection with the shooting death of Lamarckus Boswell that occurred at 9 Lanford Drive, on March 25, 2018.

During the course of investigation, investigators learned that just prior to the shooting an altercation occurred between Boswell and another subject. The altercation began inside of an apartment and led into the parking lot where gunfire erupted from a firearm possessed by Cobb.

Two other unknown subjects in possession of firearms, fired rounds as well; however they did not strike Boswell. Investigators are still seeking information regarding the identities of those individuals.

Cobb was arrested yesterday morning at 209 Davis Drive Extension and transported to the Greenville County Detention Center where he is facing charges for Murder, Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime and Felon in Possession of a Firearm. Cobb was given No Bond.
