Spartanburg Water Line Replacement

Expect lane shifts & closures

Spartanburg Water crews continue the water line replacement project on Glendalyn Avenue in the Converse Heights community between Connecticut Avenue and Pine Street. Daytime work hours are approximately 8 a.m.-5 p.m. each weekday, June 11-15.  

Lane shifts and lane closures are planned at the intersection of South Fairview Avenue and Glendalyn Avenue as crews complete street paving. One lane shift at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Glendalyn Avenue is also planned. Crews and signs will be in place to direct traffic as needed.

The southeast portion of Glendalyn Avenue from Connecticut Avenue to South Fairview Avenue is closed to through traffic for an extended period while construction activities are underway. Traffic control and detour routes are in effect until work is completed.
