Police in Union say a teenager has been arrested after threatening a teacher with a knife on Monday at Union High School.

Reports say the school resource officer and principal ran after the 16 year old student after he ran out of the classroom saying the teacher had hurt his feelings.

The teacher said the student pulled out a pocket knife, yelled expletives at teachers and ran away.

The special needs student was arrested and charged with threatening a public official and possession of a weapon on school property. The case will be tried in family court.
