Keeping Your Pet Safe in the Heat

The dog days of summer are here. The heat and humidity are sweltering and most people do not want to spend much time outside. 

If it is too hot for us, then it is for our pets as well. Unfortunately for them, they can't just walk back in the a/c whenever they want or fill their own bowls with cold water. 

They need us to do out part in making sure they are taken care of when the temperatures hit miserable highs. 

I spoke with Shelly Simmons, the manager at Greenville County Animal Care. She tells me everything that we need to do to properly care for our pets right now and tells me all about Greenville County Animal Care and how they help pet owners care for their animals, how they help to keep strays off the streets and find them homes, and everything else furry friend related.
