The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club announces their Superhero 5K and Fun Run.
The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club is hosting its fifth annual Superhero 5K and Fun Run. The Boys & Girls Club invites the entire community, those of all ages and fitness levels, to attend.             
The Superhero 5K is the annual fundraiser for The Salvation Army Girls & Boys Club. Participants are encouraged to dress as their favorite superhero and run or walk the route along the Swamp Rabbit Trail. Registration is available online through race day at 8:00 a.m. 
The Superhero 5K will be held Saturday, August 17, 2019, 8 a.m.

•      6:30 a.m. | Late registration begins
•      7:30 a.m. | Late registration closes
•      7:45 a.m. | Pre-race warm-up
•      8 a.m.| 5K begins
•      8:45 a.m. | Costume and 5K Awards
•      9 a.m. | Fun Run begins. 
 Early packet pick-up will take place on August 16 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at The Kroc Center. 
The event begins and ends at The Salvation Army Ray & Joan Kroc Corps Community Center (424 Westfield Street, Greenville, SC). The route will follow the Swamp Rabbit Trail through the future Unity Park site.
Proceeds from this fundraiser will go to support the life-changing programs offered by The Salvation Army Boys & Girls Club to ensure that all youth have great futures.
