(Walhalla, SC) -- The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca teenager who has been charged in the shooting deaths of two men on the Utica Mill Hill yesterday.

Two arrest warrants for Murder were obtained earlier Tuesday against 18 year old Steven Lee Reynolds of 3 Padgett Street in Seneca in regards to the deaths yesterday (Monday) morning of 54 year old Timothy Wayne Caldwell and 29 year old David Thomas Tranah, whose bodies were discovered at 14 Padgett Street.

The Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division is investigating the deaths as a double homicide.

Reynolds also has three outstanding arrest warrants obtained by Narcotics Agents of the Sheriff’s Office.  Two of those arrest warrants are for charges of Distribution of Methamphetamine and the other for one count of Distribution of Heroin.

As the investigation continued into the double homicide, investigators received information that Reynolds was possibly located at an address on Coffee Road near Stribling Shoals Road.  Investigators and deputies from the Uniform Patrol Division and the Special Operations Division responded to the Coffee Road address and placed Reynolds into custody without incident around 7:02pm this evening (Tuesday).  Reynolds was transported soon thereafter to the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

Reynolds was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 10:18pm last night on two counts of Murder, two counts of Distribution of Methamphetamine and one count of Distribution of Heroin.

Reynolds was denied bond on all five charges during a bond hearing.  He will appear before a Circuit Court Judge at some point regarding his bond on the charges against him.
